Nicki and George had a beautiful wedding on a September day down by the water in Fairfield, CT. We started our day with them photographing Nicki at an inn just down the road from the Jacky Durrell Pavilion in Fairfield, the location of their reception. We also got some photos of George and their two dogs at their home, as well as having an opportunity to get some photos of the lock and chain they placed around one of the trees in their yard. We then did a first look, where George's humor, something that probably drew he and Nicki together when they met, shined through. We got some beautiful photos of them by the water before heading over to do their ceremony by the water surrounded by their loved ones, before heading into the Jacky Durrell Pavilion for their reception. We ended our night with them by letting some Chinese lanterns into the night sky in memory of loved ones who weren't able to be present to witness their beautiful union, making it a wonderful opportunity to honor the past as they head into their future together as husband and wife.
