Thomas and Chelsea's Wedding| Publick House, Sturbridge, MA

Thomas and Chelsea were brought together in college by their love of running, but anyone to see these two together can clearly see how compatible and inseparable they are. They are a level headed couple who planned their wedding in less than a year, but you'd never know that, because their special day was filled with lots of personal touches that made each detail special. We started our day with them both just prior to their ceremony, and could feel the excitement as we saw them both as they anxiously awaited the ceremony and their opportunity to finally see one another. The glow and their emotions on their faces as Chelsea was escorted down the aisle by her dad are clear for all to see. They had a simple, yet meaningful ceremony, which included readings and a sand pouring ceremony. After their ceremony we were able to capture some fun photos with both family and wedding party before their introductions and first dance. They also had some profound words spoken by the father of the bride along with the matron of honor and best man before their shared their meal with their guests. Katie and Kyle's Wedding| Terryville, CT

Katie and Kyle had a beautiful Fall wedding in Terryville, Connecticut at Wood Acres Farm. The colors were definitely peaking on that beautiful Fall day, which can be seen in their photos. We started our day with them at their outdoor ceremony, just outside the barn overlooking the pond. Katie was escorted to the ceremony by her parents in a horse-drawn carriage. Their intimate ceremony took place in front of their loved ones before they were whisked away for a carriage ride for the new husband and wife. They then posed for some photos with their wedding party before their introductions and first dance. Cellena and Ryan's Wedding| Prospect, CT

Cellena and Ryan are high school sweethearts that have truly grown together throughout the years. They have a loving, supportive family that was with them on their wedding day, providing them with a helping hand as they embarked on the next step of their journey, marriage. They were blessed with an incredibly beautiful day, and we began our day at the home of Cellena's parents where she was getting ready surrounded by her family and friends, before we headed to the site of their ceremony and reception, Aria in Prospect, Connecticut. The bride and groom had an intimate garden wedding ceremony where their love for one another shone through in their photos. Their reception was filled with dance, starting off with a choreographed dance between Cellena and Ryan, then followed up by a special surprise dance which was coordinated by Cellena's sister. Jessica and Nick's Wedding| Westbrook, CT

Jessica and Nick are a sweet couple who truly compliment one another in every way. They are high school sweethearts, and their love for another is natural and their personalities fit together so well. We started our day with Jessica and her wedding party as they got ready for her big day. The weather could not have been more perfect! Nick had a quiet start to his day surrounded by his groomsmen, where he read a letter from his soon to be bride and his father, as well as Jessica's father were present. Their ceremony took place at Water's Edge in Westbrook, Connecticut, and despite it being September, it felt like a beautiful Summer day. They exchanged their vows with a perfect sky and a view of the water with their family and friends surrounding them during their intimate ceremony. Amanda and Jason's Wedding| Salem, CT

Amanda and Jason had a beautiful love story which has taught them that the best things in life sometimes arrive when we least expect them. They are a fun and funny couple, who really compliment one another. They decided that for their wedding day, they wanted to be sure that all aspects of their day fit their personalities as individuals and as a couple. We started our day out with Jason as he got ready with his wedding party at his home, before heading over to Amanda who was getting ready at the site of her reception.

We then had a first look in the forest with the soon to be bride and groom, where they had a chance to spend a few moments together just before their ceremony. Their outdoor ceremony took place in the midst of a large field, with their guests seats atop hay bales, on a beautifully summery September day.

Their reception took place under a tent lined with lights, with a wooden dance floor where children and adults alike danced the night away. The night would not have been complete without the paper lanterns which the couple released into the night air in memory of those who were not able to be with them on their special day, and the perfect way to commemorate their next chapter as a couple and family.

Anna and Jeff's Wedding| Saint Clements Castle, Portland, CT

We met Anna and Jeff last year, and loved beginning to know them both, and learning about their love story. They are both close to their families, and I enjoyed hearing how Jeff travelled across the sea to Poland with Anna to visit her family, and seized the opportunity to ask her to be his wife with family and friends surrounding them. We had an opportunity to photograph their engagement photos down by the water, and were happy to be able to incorporate the water again for them during their wedding photos. We started our day with them both getting ready. Anna got ready in her parent's home, with a room filled with relics of both a little girl and a grown woman, and Jeff received a special set of cufflinks from his soon to be bride as a wedding present. Their ceremony took place in the church that Anna's parents attend, making their ceremony all that much more special. We were able to capture beautiful photos of their family and friends before heading to the site of their reception, Saint Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut. Their reception was a true celebration to this next chapter in their lives, where they danced the night away with their family and friends who had travelled from near and far, dancing to songs sung by their live band who made the night even more memorable with each passing song. Michelle and Joe's Wedding| The Fox Hill Inn, Brookfield, CT

I began to get to know Michelle and Joe last summer when we visited a local winery for their engagement session. They are a sweet couple whose personalities really compliment one another, and we were really looking forward to a beautiful Spring wedding with them at their ceremony and reception site, The Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield, Connecticut. Two days prior to their wedding day, the town their wedding was in, Brookfield, CT was hit by a tornado, much to the surprise of the bride and groom, as well as to us as we arrived at the venue on that beautiful Friday afternoon.

They were definitely blessed with the weather which is the calm after the storm, an absolutely beautiful Spring day with perfect skies and temperatures. Michelle and her bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite, where Julie, her maid of honor added some personal touches to Michelle's bouquet, and we were able to get some photos of their robes and slippers, along with their beautiful gowns.

We were able to capture some beautiful photos of Joe opening a special gift from Michelle, as well as some photos with his groomsmen before their ceremony. After their garden ceremony surrounded by their family and friends, we were able to capture beautiful images with their wedding party, before heading into their reception where they danced the night away before ending the night with a glow stick send-off surrounded by their family and friends.

Kristen and Tom's wedding| The Waterview, Monroe, CT

Kristen and Tom got married on a snowy December eve at the Waterview in Monroe, CT. We had an opportunity to get to know them during their engagement session, and enjoyed being able to learn more about their love story. They have a natural, fun loving relationship, always demonstrating how much they care for one another, in a nurturing way that is rare to see. Kristen and Tom selected blues and whites for their colors, and they could not have selected more appropriate colors for the day, with the beautiful snow that fell throughout the day. Despite the snow, all their family and friends surrounded them as they exchanged their personalized vows in a beautifully intimate wedding ceremony. LeeAnn and Melvin's Wedding|South Windsor, CT

LeeAnn and Melvin began as many love stories do, with friendship. They were friends in high school, and despite going separate ways after graduation maintained friendships in common throughout the years, which eventually brought them back together, and brought love into their friendship. We began our day with Melvin as he prepared for the wedding surrounded by family and friends, before heading over to see LeeAnn at her mom's home. Both LeeAnn and Melvin had lots of beautiful details for us to capture, from gifts for their wedding party, to a photo of LeeAnn's grandmother attached to her bouquet in remembrance of her. LeeAnn also incorporated a photo of her grandmother on her own wedding day, a detail which demonstrated their close bond even further. They selected to hold their ceremony at Memorial Chapel, located in the heart of Wesleyan University's campus in Middletown, CT. We were able to get some photos of them on campus before heading to their reception site, Maneeley's in South Windsor, where they held a beautiful rustic reception surrounded by their family and friends where they all had a wonderful time dancing the night away. Angela and Paul are a sweet couple who have an interesting love story. They dated in high school, even having gone to prom together, before parting ways and heading off to college. They reunited after coming back home, and became an inseparable duo. On their wedding day we started their coverage off with Paul and his groomsmen before heading over to see the girls and capturing all their details and heading to the church for their ceremony. Each and every couple we work with has a unique love story, and throughout their engagement session, we look to learn more about them as a couple, in order to have the images we take, reflect who they are as individuals and as a couple. These two started their love story back in high school, and are visibly just in love now as when their love first bloomed. They selected Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, Connecticut, a location that is beautiful to visit in any season of the year with its beautiful architecture and vegetation. Erica and Mike's Wedding| Colonial Tavern, Oxford, CT

Erica and Mike had a beautiful wedding on an Autumn day at the peak of color at the Colonial Tavern in Oxford, Connecticut. We started our day with Mike at Southford Falls in Southford, Connecticut capturing photos of he and his family and groomsmen before heading over to the Colonial Tavern in Oxford where we captured all of Erica's details for the day, from her dress, to her invite, and two pairs of shoes for her special day. Erica also had an extra special necklace to wear for her wedding day which her grandmother gifted her and also helped her put on on her wedding day. The couple didn't want a first look, but wanted a moment to hold hands pre-ceremony, heightening their excitement to see one another. After their garden ceremony out in front of the gazebo, we were able to capture more images with their wedding party, as well as with just the two of them before heading in for introductions and their first dance. Franni and Andy's Engagement Session| Kent Falls, Kent, CT

Every once and a while we have an opportunity to head up to Kent Falls in Kent, Connecticut for an engagement session. Franni and Andy selected this location for their session because it was a place they both enjoyed visiting, and that they thought would be perfect for their session. Being parents ourselves, we enjoy it when we are given an opportunity to incorporate children in our sessions, as was the case with this beautiful Autumn engagement session. We had Franni and Andy's young son involved in the session from start to finish, and were able to capture their exploration of the falls as a family through the lenses of our cameras. We had a fun and memorable hike with this lovely family and look forward to capturing their big day!

Yesenia and Pat decided to tie the knot on a beautiful Fall day at the Litchfield Inn in Litchfield, Connecticut. Our coverage began at their home, where we were able to get photos of Pat with his family, including their beloved cat. We then headed to the Litchfield Inn where we photographed Yesenia and her bridesmaids, as well as all her details down to shoes and flowers. We then headed out under the tent for their garden ceremony, where Pat and Yesenia were able to see one another for the first time all day as Yesenia was walked down the aisle. After their exchange of vows, we headed up front where we were able to get beautiful photos of them with their bridal party before heading in to the venue for their reception. The weather was absolutely perfect, with a light breeze and sunshine, a reminder of the beauty awaiting this couple as they prepared to exchange their nuptials before their family and friends. We started out our day with them as they finalized their getting ready, with Julie getting ready in the bridal suite at Saint Clements with all her bridesmaids and mom present, while John had some time with his groomsmen, where we were able to get some photos of them all, including photos of their matching watches and personalized socks. Jordan and Matt love the beach, and decided to have their engagement session at Walnut Beach in Milford, Connecticut. The day we had their session was a perfect evening for an engagement session at the beach with a nice, light breeze off of the water with low humidity. As with each of our sessions, we enjoy being able to get to know each of our couples in a low key environment where we are able to walk and talk with them, allowing them to get to know a bit about us, as we get to know a bit about them. Jordan and Matt are a sweet couple, who were good subjects with lots of creative accents and ideas for their session which we enjoyed being able to incorporate into their photos. Ashley and Rich's Wedding|Amarante's Sea Cliff, New Haven, CT

We started our coverage with Ashley and Rich on a rainy September morning at the hotel where they were both getting ready. They had their puppy Scout there, and he was an important part of their day, as he was the ring bearer. They also had a special flower girl, their newborn niece. We got to capture some wonderful photos of them both with their wedding party before heading over to their wedding site, Amarante's Sea Cliff in New Haven. We weren't sure if these two would be able to have an outdoor ceremony due to the rain, but as we drove to the venue, began to see the skies clear completely, with bright blue skies peeking through unexpectedly. The ceremony was held outdoors, and was an intimate event with all their loved ones present. We were then able to get beautiful photos of them and their wedding party before introductions and their amazing evening dancing the night away. We ended our night with them with a beautiful sparkler exit on the deck before sending them off as husband and wife. We truly enjoyed being able to capture your day!

Lauren and Steve got married on a beautiful summer day. We started our day with Lauren in her parents' home with her family and bridesmaids. We then headed over to the ceremony site, the church that Lauren grew up in, and served throughout her childhood. It was a meaningful service, officiated by the priest who had pastored her church during her years serving the church. After this we headed over to Saint Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut where we were able to capture beautiful photos of their family and friends before introductions and the couple's first dance as husband and wife. They had a great group of guests and a fun cake cutting, and we enjoyed being able to capture their special day!

Cellena and Ryan's engagement| Gouveia Vineyard, Wallingford, CT

Cellena and Ryan will be getting married next Fall, but wanted to take advantage of their engagement session to capture the end of the summer season at Gouveia in Wallingford, Connecticut. This beautiful vineyard is a favorite of many of the couples I have an opportunity to work with, and they were a wonderful pair to explore the vineyard with. We enjoyed every detail of this location and moved around the grounds to try and take it all in for them in their photos. The sky was magnificent on the evening of their session, a special detail that we were excited to be able to bring out for them in their photos. We even had a crane join us during the session by flying the grass and landing near them. Rachel and Ryan love being by the water, and decided that they were interested in having their engagement session by the water in Old Lyme, Connecticut. They enjoy boating, and were familiar with the area that they decided to have their session. it was a quiet location that seemed to be frequented by the locals, but was definitely a hidden gem. We always enjoy being able to explore new locations with our couples, and learn about locations that we don't know much about. It was a fun time walking and talking with them, and we could definitely see the love between them, which made the session go by all that much more quickly. Elizabeth Park is one of the most popular spots picked by our couples for engagement sessions because of its beautiful gardens. The park has a beautiful rose garden that we were able to use for photos, as well as beautiful bridges and architecture throughout. After our first look they took us down the road to a local farm for some additional photos with their wedding party, before returning in time for their ceremony surrounded by their family and friends. Michelle and Joe got engaged at a winery, and so they decided that they wanted to shoot their engagement session at a new winery in the area, Hawk Ridge Winery in Watertown, Connecticut. The winery is nestled into the hills of Watertown, and was an absolutely perfect backdrop for a session. This beautiful winery offered us a blend of both a winery, with a country feel that one might not expect to find in this part of the country. I enjoy every opportunity I have to begin getting to know our couples, and these two were no exception. They complimented one another well, balancing each other's personality, and letting their chemistry as a couple shine through in their photos. I loved having an opportunity to get to know you both a bit, and look forward to being a part of your wedding day next Spring!

I began to get to know Katie and Peter two years ago when they first started their wedding planning. Katie wanted to plan their special day without the pressure of getting all completed in just one year, something we could completely understand! We planned their Elizabeth Park engagement session for November of that year, and were able to bring out the simplicity of that late Fall Connecticut bare tree look, making Katie and Peter's love for one another the main focus of their engagement session. On the day of the wedding it rained, which moved their ceremony indoors, but regardless, the main focal point was their love for one another, something that no amount of rain could hamper. We spent the day with them from getting ready to ceremony, to a fun-filled reception. We really enjoyed being a part of your wedding day, and hope that you both love your sneak peek!

Cheryl and Drew's Wedding| The Candlewood Inn, Brookfield, CT

Cheryl and Drew got married on a beautiful day at the beautiful Candlewood Inn in Brookfield, Connecticut. We had an opportunity to begin getting to know this amazing couple last Fall when we photographed their engagement session at Elizabeth Park in Hartford. They are a sweet and funny couple, with great chemistry that we could see from the moment we met them. The day of their wedding they were blessed with amazing weather, something that added to the beauty of their celebration. Their waterfront ceremony started with a first glance between Cheryl and her dad, who could not be any prouder as he prepared to walk her down the aisle. Their son stood by them as they exchanged vows, and they had a special beer pouring ceremony to commemorate their union as husband and wife. It was a beautiful wedding from start to finish that we truly enjoyed capturing, and we hope you love your sneak peek!

Kristen and Tom's engagement| Twin Brooks Park, Trumbull, CT

Kristen and Tom are a sweet and dynamic couple that fit together so well! They decided that they wanted to go to Twin Brooks Park in Trumbull for their engagement session and we were blessed with amazing weather the evening of their session. They brought their adorable puppy along, and we were able to get great shots with them all, exploring the park and its beautiful fountains and the incredible bridge it's so well known for. We truly enjoyed having an opportunity to get to know you both, and hope you love your photos!

Amy and Brandon's Wedding| The Candlewood, Brookfield, CT

Amy and I had an opportunity to meet via FaceTime after she found us on The Knot. She was planning her Connecticut wedding at The Candlewood remotely and she and I were able to talk about her desires for her special day as she marry Brandon. We had to an opportunity to meet in person last summer during their Elizabeth Park engagement session, and I really enjoyed getting to know these two, completely able to see the love between them shining through in the images we were capturing of them. We spoke the week of their wedding, and knew that there was a definite possibility of rain on their wedding day. Amy wasn't going to let a little weather stand in the way of her ability to enjoy their day, and came prepared for the rain with a cute pair of rain boots that fit in perfectly with her color scheme! The rain did come, but we also had some breaks in the weather and were able to get them outside with their bridal party to get some incredible photos of them. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, and we wish you both a marriage filled with many years of happiness!

Angela and Paul's engagement session| Elizabeth Park, West Hartford, CT

Angela and Paul had a nice engagement session at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, Connecticut. Elizabeth Park is a truly great location for a session at any time of year because of its architecture and varied vegetation and landscaping throughout the year. One of the things we enjoy about what we do is getting to know each couple we work with and getting to know their love story. Angela and Paul's story is one that began with high school friendship which blossomed into a relationship which is now preparing to head down the aisle. We enjoyed walking and talking with them, and exploring the entire park while capturing beautiful photos of them to keep and treasure for years to come.

Ashley and Jason's Wedding| Cascade, Hamden,CT and Riverview, Weatogue, CT

Ashley and Jason had a beautiful wedding day in April, from start to finish. We started our day with them at the site of their ceremony, The Riverview in Weatogue, Connecticut. The ceremony site was beautifully decorated with touches of Spring everywhere you looked. They had a beautiful ceremony under the tent with a beautiful breeze flowing through. We then went to the Flower Bridge in Simsbury with their wedding party to take some photographs before heading down to the location of their reception, Cascade Fine Catering in Hamden, Connecticut. They had a beautiful reception surrounded by their family and friends, and even had a chance to make more memories with their guests in our photo booth. Samantha and Vincent's Wedding| West Haven, CT

Samantha and Vincent got married on a blustery winter day in March. We started our day with them at Vincent's parents home where we got some photos of him getting ready with his groomsmen, and at the hotel where Samantha was getting ready with her bridesmaids.

We then headed to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in New Haven, Connecticut where they were surrounded by their family and friends during a beautiful church ceremony.

After their ceremony we headed to the location of their reception, the West River Hall located in West Haven, Connecticut where the celebration continued with lots of love, laughter and joy throughout the night. We enjoyed being a part of your day, and hope you both enjoy your sneak peek!
